Eco-Friendly Carpet Cleaning

Here at Steam Pros, we believe in protecting the environment as much as possible.  We offer carpet and floor cleaning products are green and eco-friendly. We choose biodegradable and nontoxic products that are healthy, safe to use around pets and children, and gentle on the environment.

Using eco-friendly cleaners is a major priority for us. There are many green cleaners on the market that are just as effective as the more toxic chemicals that people have used for a long time. This means that we can give you a clean that you can feel good about, without sacrificing any efficiency or effectiveness.

However, there are a few tasks where there is not necessarily an ideal eco friendly cleaner available. In some cases, the best cleaner for a job is not particularly environmentally friendly, and the green alternatives don’t do as good a job. We care about the planet, but we also care about doing a good job for you. So in these cases we give you the choice.

If your job needs a less environmentally friendly carpet cleaning product, We will explain the situation and why we need to use the other products. We’ll tell you about the more eco friendly alternative, and the results you can expect to see from it, versus the results you can expect to see from the other product. And then we’ll leave it up to you.

This happens only rarely. About 98% of the products we use are environmentally safe, eco friendly, and green carpet cleaning products. We take our obligation to the planet very seriously. We also believe that with all the technology we have available at our hands, there is no reason why we should not be able to enjoy first rate, modern lives while treading lightly on the earth at the same time.

These were the two ideas that we combined to create our environmental ethics philosophy when we created Steam Pros – that we must be kind to the earth, and that there is (almost) always a way to do so while getting results.

And when there is not a way to get the same results while being eco-friendly, we assume that there’s just not a way yet. So we are always watching the science news and keeping up to date on the newest discoveries, because as soon as there is an eco friendly product that can get the same results as the few non-green products we unfortunately still have to keep in our arsenal, we will immediately phase out the environmentally unfriendly products and replace them with products that are kind to the earth.
